Personal Information

Lorenzo Pollini was born in Grosseto, Italy, on april 9 1971. He received the "laurea" degree (cum laude) in Computer Engineering from University of Pisa in 1997 and the Ph.D. in Robotics and Industrial Automation at the Department of Electrical Systems and Automation, University of Pisa in 2000. He is currently an assistant professor at the same department.

His main research interests concern neural control, non linear adaptive control, variable structure control, cooperative control and swarming, autonomous formation flight and refueling for unammed vehicles and real time dynamic systems simulation with specific application to aircraft and underwater systems.
